Classic with Style 2012 Ms. Princess Pageant

Classic with Style hosted Ms. Princess 2012 in their beautiful finale venue. Judges Lillou Merlin, Harleybeth28 Amoufhaz, and October Bettencourt had their hands full because each finalist was truly breathtaking. The contestants based their talents and gowns on princesses. Oh I really want to be a princess now! And the winner is….

Got your attention there! No Debbiedoo did not win this pageant because she is Classic with Style COO, so she is no longer allowed to compete. Pity because she looked magnificent and was one of my favorite looks of the day. On with the show!

First the finalists had to style a bikini any way they saw fit. I was too busy stuffing my face with cookies to plump up my avi’s bottom, so, alas, no pictures; however, I was able to snap a couple during the finalists’ talent portion. Ice skating was popular this pageant and both Sunrae and Janet did beautiful jobs with their sets.

Janet gave a hauntingly beautiful performance dressed as Swan Lake’s Princess Odette and skated to Tchaikovky. I absolutely love Tchaikovsky!

Sunrae captivated the audience with her Disney Princesses on Ice. Taking us through Walt Disney’s most memorable princesses, she cleverly morphed into different characters and gave brief stories for each. The judges paid off Sunrae’s hard work and awarded her Most Creative Talent! Congratulations Sun!

All finalists performed beautiful talent acts, so I would be hard pressed to name my favorite. It takes a lot of creativity and courage to put together an act, so well done to them all!

Finally it was the moment we were all waiting for. Well maybe the second moment we were all waiting for. Each finalist took to the runway one last time for the Pageants Q & A portion. As you can see, each finalist looked amazing!

While the judges tallied their scores, the audience danced to DJ Wildrose's tunes. Such a nail-biting moment for the finalists! At last Anrol Anthony announced she had the winners. As mentioned before, Sunrae won for her amazing talent, and Sidney won Ms. Photogenic Princess. She is always so stunning! Congratulations to Sunrae and Sidney!
Sidney also placed second runner up and won 30,000 Lindens! Second runner up...is Sunrae! She took home 55,000 Lindens. Last but not least...

Congratulations to Ms. Janet Brink! She won the 100, 000 Linden Prize, a huge trophy, and a gorgeous crown by Alyssa Bijoux.

Congratulations to all the finalists! Each one of you took my breath away! Now I really want to be a princess :D Peace!

Saturday

Congratulations to first place winner Katrinova! She chose an advanced university training! Looking forward to seeing you in class Kat! In addition, congrats to second place winner Marya and third place winner Laci! They all did a fabulous job!

Dancing with the SL Stars Finale and Second Audition Results!

The second audition for Dancing with the SL Stars ended with a bang...or crash as is typical of SL. For those of you who missed it, Flora Stipe won the first DWSLS!

I was her mentor and it was an awesome experience for me. For her to have won, was just the frosting on the cake! Take a look at some of the shots, taken by Ms. Rhea Blitz, of the finale!

Today we had the second audition, and congratulations to the five last standing: Ms. Janet Brinks, Ms. Nickle Sparrowtree, Ms. Laci Rossini, Ms. Victoria Allegiere, and Ms. Lilmama Artis. Looking forward to the show!

Monday

2011 Calender Finale in 2012!

Even though we have rung in 2012, Classic with Style had some unfinished business to take care of. Tonight celebrated the calender models of 2011! The calender finale went as planned in spite of some last minute difficulties, such as a new judge (me yikes!), a new DJ (who was awesome with only a couple hours notice), and a sim crash (oh Second Life!).

However, as we say at CWS, the show must go on, and indeed it did! I was able to catch some pictures after I calculated my votes, and I hope I was able to capture some of the beauty that transpired throughout the night.

For their last walk down the runway, each finalist was to prepare a formal gown styling depending on their month. Each of the ladies looked lovely!

After their gown walk and Q&A, the part I always used to dread, each finalist took their spots on the side of the stages to await the results. Lillou, Second Life Designer, and I counted up our scores. Which by the way are a mystery to both of us, so the end result is just as much of a surprise as it is for the audience and the finalists. While we waited for powerhouses Anrol and Steve, CEOs of CWS, to combine the scores, Essence, Second Life songstress, took to the stage and performed.

Time for the winners!

Best dance was the Dragon Sisters, otherwise known as Kiralyn, Sunrae, and Suzie. They truly dazzled me with their performance!

Next Nickle was awarded most photogenic and Victoria was awarded most creative gown.

Finally the winners were announced! Third place...Sidney Abbot....Second Place....Janet Brink...and the winner is...Nickle Sparrowtree. Congratulations to all the finalists for all their hard work.

Like last year's pageant, I wasn't expecting this outcome, but that is the beauty of life. It really is full of surprises. Oh no...I am dangerously close to sounding like Forrest Gump! Time to sign off :D Congrats!

February's Styling Fashion Show

Each month Classic with Style holds a fashion show for the top three winners in their nightly styling events. The past month's winners rocked the runway for judge Christy Hamer, designer and owner of Glamour Style. Ms. Hamer chose Ms. Sidney Abbot as most creative model of the month.

Congratulations to Sidney!

It's a good month for Sidney because CWS awarded her new partner Mr. Philippe Bryon a scholarship to the University of Classic with Style.

Congratulations to Mr. Bryon for his hard work and for landing one of the hottest female avatars on the Second Life grids! Congrats to the newlyweds!
