Classic With Style's Top Model 2012 Pageant

Chain smoking, wine guzzling, and nail biting consumes the majority of pageant finalists, and that is while they are getting ready! Can you imagine the tension during the show? Just teasing! Well I don't know what each finalist is really doing while he or she is waiting to make the walk down the runway, but I do know that pageants are scary events. Classic With Style put on their 2nd annual Top Model 2012 today in the stunning Red Venue Finale.  Ms. Janet Brink walked away with her 2nd title and Most Creative Talent, so congratulations to her! In addition, congratulations to the first runner up Sunrae for also winning Ms. Photogenic! Reese came in third for his dashing appearance on the runway. Congratulations to everyone!

April 2012 UCWS Graduation

We had another fab graduation show this past Friday! Congratulations to the April Class! This was such an awesome group of students. They all worked so well together and it was obvious that they were a team because they were all supporting and encouraging each other backstage. Teamwork is good! Oh and can't forget the class valedictorian and the best blogger for this month! Congratulations to Liberty! She is the April 2012 Class Valedictorian! Master Styling Finale!

After many weeks of styling challenges, Kiralyn Destiny and Janet Brink took to the dome stage to show off three styles. The first style of the night was burlesque! The judges found out at that moment that props and music would be part of the stylings, and while it was a fun addition, I felt so bad for them because props can be fickle, but they handled it beautifully.

Next Kiralyn and Janet had to style a Lady Gaga themed outfit. I love love love Lady Gaga, and I think she pushes the limits in fashion, but she does so in a good way. Well...maybe the meat thing she did was a bit too much, at least for me. I'm a well done kind of girl, and I know that probably cooks out the flavor, but it also ensures my piece of meat will not bleed when I stick my fork and knife into it. That is a bit too scary for me. However, speaking of scary, Janet wore a stunning outfit made of butterflies, and I say stunning because in SL it really was, but in RL, I would probably run and scream if so many butterflies landed on me. Nevertheless it pushed the limits and that is what I thought a Lady Gaga type outfit would do. Kiralyn went for the uber sexy exhibitionist style that I think Lady Gaga would also go for.

Last but not least, Kiralyn and Janet had to style a red carpet look. Both ladies were so exquisite! It was so hard to chose. The results were exciting as always, and Kiralyn's name popped up in fireworks as the Master Stylist of 2012. Congratulations to the both of them!

Styling Master 2012 Top Three!

We have almost reached the end of Classic with Style's Master Styling Event! The last challenge had Spring in the air, and the stylists had to prepare a stunning Easter ensemble. Oh I adore Springtime! I could do without the allergies that come with it....aaaachhoooo...but it is such a delicious time of year. Congratulations to Kiralyn Destiny, Janet Brink, and Nickle Sparrowtree for your efforts! The finale will be a fun event! Kiralyn, Janet, and Nickle must style three outfits. Let's see how they do burlesque, Lady Gaga Spirit, and red carpet. Going by the contestants previous stylings...this is going to be a grand show!

Congratulations to UCWS March Graduates!

It was another graduation for our wonderful students! Congratulations to Ace, Cyalady, Princess Violet, and Cel for making it through the intensive three week training! Ooh and another congratulations to Mesange and Phil! The French are taking over! Debbiedoo awarded Mesange with an advanced training scholarship, and Didier awarded Phil with an advanced training scholarship! Well done to all!
